Tutorial: Super Easy Glam Eye Look

With the holidays right around the corner, I wanted to share a super easy, glam eye look
with all of my favorite beauty lovers. This neutral eye look can be paired with almost any
lip color and will look great on any skin tone. You can ‘tone’ down the look by adding a nude
lip for a more wearable daytime look OR glam it up by adding a vibrant red lip for a sassy
nighttime look. Whatever you choose, rock it with confidence. YOU.ARE.GORGEOUS.

What You’ll Need:
– Eyeshadow Primer
– L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Eye Shadow in Bottomless Java OR a dark, shimmery brown shade
– Loreal Eye Shadow Quad in Cupa Joe OR a warm light brown matte shade AND a dark brown matte shade
– Dark Brown Eyeliner
– Black Eyeliner (optional)
– Your favorite mascara (or mascaras for those of us who use more than one)
– Flat Shader Eyeshadow Brush (2; one for the lid color and one for the brown bone color)
– Fluffy Eyeshadow Brush
– Blending Eyeshadow Brush
– Pencil Eyeshadow Brush
– Eyelash Curler

Step One
Step 1
Apply an eyeshadow primer from your upper lash line to your brow bone. The primer will make your eyeshadow more vibrant, long-wearing and will help prevent creasing.

Step Two
Step 2
With a fluffy eyeshadow brush, apply the light brown matte eyeshadow from the L’Oreal Eyeshadow Quad in Cupa Joe to your crease using a windshield wiper motion. Don’t worry about this step being perfect or too precise as this is your transition shade.

Step Three
Step 3
Using a flat shader eyeshadow brush, apply the L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Bottomless Java all over your eyelid, packing (or patting) on the color from your lashline to right below your crease. Be careful to not go above your crease as we want the focus of this look to centered around your eyelid.

Step Four
Step 4
Using a blending eyeshadow brush, apply the dark brown matte eyeshadow from the same quad and work the color into the crease. Focus on blending out the harsh line from Bottomless Java eyeshadow. Then with a clean flat shader brush, apply the highlight shade from the same quad to your brow bone.

Step Five
Step 5
Apply a deep brown eyeliner to your upper and lower lash lines. Then using a pencil brush blend out the eyeliner with a little of the Bottomless Java eyeshadow. This will bring a subtle smoky drama to the look. You can also line your waterline with a dark black eyeliner to intensify the look, if you want.

Step Six
Step 6
With an eyelash curler, curl your eyelashes and apply two to three coats of your favorite mascara. I like to use Cover Girl Lash Perfection Mascara combined with Jordana’s Best Volume Extreme Volumizing Mascara. I apply one coat of the CG mascara to both my upper and lower lashes. Next using the Jordana mascara, I apply a second coat to my upper lashes only, focusing on the outer two-thirds of my lashes. Lastly I go back with the CG mascara and apply one final coat of mascara to both my upper and lower lashes. I know this seems a bit excessive, however, mascara will make any eye look pop, so I HIGHLY suggest taking the time to give your lashes a little (or a lot of) love.

Step Seven
Step 7
Wah-la! Stand back, admire your work and tell yourself how pretty and amazing YOU are!

I hope you enjoyed learning how to do this super easy, super glam eye look.

XOXO,
Sarah
